Itec AllDay App launches as a single interface solution to Enterprise IT ...With mobility becoming a daily requirement in today’s modern business world, organisations are increasingly looking for mobility solutions that allow for easy access to company infrastructure and data at a reasonable price. In light of this Itec, in partnership with Silicon Sky, has announced the launch of the Itec All Day application – a new cloud offering for the South African market.

"Mobility is not new, but it is becoming an inherent requirement in today’s business environment,” says Rodney Taylor, managing director of Itec Communications SA. "We find customers are increasingly looking for a solution that allows them to access company infrastructure and data without compromising security.” The Itec All Day app enables collaboration between several technologies allowing companies to deploy a one stop solution for all their IT requirements from a single interface.

"The offering will allow companies to access all their business applications from a single, easy-to-use application available for download to all smart devices,” says Taylor.

"Through Itec All Day users are able to make VoIP calls with video conferencing capabilities directly out of the cloud,” says Taylor. "It also includes a personalised virtual desktop to access all company data including email, Microsoft Office and any other company applications required.” All the applications are hosted in an enterprise Dell Cloud, which is managed and operated by Silicon Sky.

"Data security and backups are of the essence in any corporate environment,” says Taylor. Daily backups are done and all systems (servers, storage and operating systems) are monitored and managed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with an uptime SLA. "Incorporated into the smart app is a full on-site managed service for any IT-related support for all devices including printers, desktops, phones and the customer’s local area network,” he concludes.
